Meter Money
JordanThomasHall27 August 2018
Capt. Fomento has installed parking meters in town. When he impounds Sister Bertrille's station wagon for not having headlights she borrows Carlos' convertible. As she gets in it she spots the meter of the man's in front of her suddenly expire and hurriedly puts in a nickel before a ticket can be written. The man is so appreciative that he donates $10 to the convent. The children with Sister Bertrille feel it would be a good way to make money for the convent. When the idea is turned down to Sister Bertrille the kids decide to take it on themselves. Meanwhile, the two men who sold the meters to San Tanco kept a key and have taken the money from them. Fomento plans a trap to catch whoever is stealing the money by marking the coins. Sister Bertrille receives two of the coins in change when she buys headlights from a local junkyard. When Fomento and his right hand man Sgt. Salazar (Michael Pataki) see the coins and spot her in a compromising situation she becomes their chief suspect.
