A man is in jail, condemned for a crime he claimed not to commit. A priest comes to see and also listen to him. He says that only a woman - Cathy - can prove he is innocent. This a predictable tale about an innocent man - at least supposed to be - who desperately tries to save his neck, till the last minute before execution. The man in question waiting for the chair, unless the chair waits for him - is a war veteran and a hero. Phil Carey plays here not the condemned dude but a friend of his also trying to save him. Eddy Arnold is a prosecutor, who had heart failure issue, and also in charge of the case. Good suspense and character psychology.
