Anthony Lapaglia won a primetime Emmy for his portrayal of Daphne's brother, Simon Moon.
First appearance of Anthony LaPaglia as Simon. LaPaglia, an Australian actor, does an English accent to play Simon. However, while Jane Leeves, who is from London, does a Manchester accent to play Daphne, LaPaglia does a South English accent when playing Simon, clashing with the premise that he's also from Manchester.
The episode title is borrowed from the title of the sixth studio album by English rock group Pink Floyd released in 1973.
Barbara Sharma, who plays Donnie's mom, got her start in TV as a regular performer on "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In." She was on the show from 1970 through 1972.
On the show Daphne was on when she was young, she started out as the "short spunky one." She added that by the end of the show she was 5'10" and that they had to bind her breasts so she would appear younger than she really was.
