A top French magazine wants to do a story about the increasing number of English people moving to France--and picks the Fields as a typical couple. Thanks to a series of misunderstandings, the magazine gets a distorted view of the English.
The Fields prepare for an interview with 'Paris Match' magazine as a typical English couple living in France. Hester thinks William should buy a wig for the photo session but he insists they just look casual - not that it stops him buying a bow tie whilst Hester upstages him in a cocktail dress. When the interview seems rather bland the Trendles from next door arrive with lies about their friendship with the Royal family and it looks as if they may end up as the interviewees. Hester however knows just how to put a stop to that.—don @ minifie-1
