The One With The Super Bowl...
taylorkingston1 August 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I like this episode. It's not one of my absolute all-time favorites, but it is definitely still worth watching.

In this episode, Joey returns home from a two-week comedy tour to watch the Super Bowl, which he's really excited about. But then he remembers that he, and Jesse had volunteered to take Michelle, and her class to the museum, meaning he would have to miss the game. Instead, he takes them to a local bar so he can watch them, promising that the kids would eventually have fun. But when the TV gets broken, the two bring all of the football fans back to their house to finish the game. This interrupts D.J.'s college interview, which of course, Danny doesn't like at all.

Best part of this episode: Nothing in particular.

Worst part of this episode: Nothing in particular.

Overall, I give this episode a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.

Super Bowl!
Movie-ManDan29 April 2019
The Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, and World Series are the best and most fun days in the world of sports. Joey's favourite sport might be hockey, but 1995 ws the same year the San Fransisco 49ers made it. Made sense for there to be an episode about the Super Bowl instead of the Stanley Cup (especially since San Fransisco does not have a hockey team).

Joey is excited for Super Bowl Sunday. But he forgets that is the day he and Jesse chaperone Michelle's science club. Unwilling to miss the action, Joey suggests they go to a tavern. Michelle and her friends are angry that there is nothing science related about the tavern while Jesse is mad at Joey's neglect to his help, but Joey is in Super Bowl Land. When the tv breaks, the club and the customers head to the Tanner house. There, DJ is preparing for an interview to get a scholarship.

Every episode tries to have a moment of learning--their lesson of the day. The bit in this is weak, but that's fine because the rest of the episode was mighty fine.
