Jesse's character growth from previous seasons thrown out the window?
kaitnicole17 September 2021
The whole plot of this episode hinges on a conversation between Jesse and his soon-to-be FIL about responsibility. The writers seem to completely ignore the whole premise that he dropped everything to help raise his nieces for the last four years, including negotiating a work from home deal to continue taking care of Michelle. He has had numerous conversations with Becky about responsibility beforehand and he always shows up. The rest of the episode is just like the rest of the series. Full of wit, humor, and the normal crazy antics of the Tanner family.

The One Where Jesse and Becky Get Married.
Movie-ManDan2 February 2019
Warning: Spoilers
One more day until the knot gets tied. DJ and Stephanie make a vlog, Howie returns, and Becky's parents appear. Lots happens, but seems to me more like the episode could have been a standalone.

A flaw is Becky's parents meeting Jesse for the first time. In season 3, he meets them at least twice, so that's a mistake. Jesse and Mr. Donaldson get off on the wrong foot (Jesse rides his motorcycle fast) but all gets resolved between them too fast. He then has a talk to Jesse about settling down, so that gives Jesse cold feet. So he takes Joey skydiving to have one last adventure as a single man before giving it all up. That was all so forced. But it all builds up to a good cause in part 2.
