- Quotes
Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak: I've had it. I've just had it. In the past few days, I have been turned down for every available part-time job in Dade County that didn't involve selling cocaine.
Blanche Devereaux: Oh, Dorothy, it's just so unfair. They shouldn't be allowed to do this to a fine teacher like you.
Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak: Well, it's part of the experimental year-round school system. Every teacher is required to take a ten-week leave, and my ten weeks are now.
Sophia Petrillo: This wouldn't have happened if you'd taken the job I wanted you to take.
Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak: Ma, you wanted me to be a nun.
Sophia Petrillo: Right. It's steady work, they supply the uniform, and you're married to God. At least he's home every night.
- Crazy creditsThe frame used for the end credits is from unused footage, but the dog seen is shown coming inside the house at the end of the episode.
Plenty of conflict here to give this episode a different vibe, yes it's funny, but it's the serious side of it that makes it feel so unique. The characters are so good, they matter so much, that when they fall out it's sad.
Funniest moment had to be the scene between Sophia and Andrew Allen, absolutely hilarious, she so often stole the show.
How cute was Inky The Dog, what a good boy.
It was funny to see Dorothy and Blanche together in a working environment, they're such good friends at home, but the work place is a very different environment, the scenes between the two were terrific.
8/10.
