As a kid this one always creeped me out! Gotta love terror tower. As an adult, I'm confused as to how a grown man was knocked over by a light tap from a mannequin hand.

Had Potential but didn't reach it!

Warning: Spoilers
Very good episode, that can be confusing at times

The Story

Two kids go into this tower. They look around explore. But then they get lost ( predictable but kept me gripped), they then go into a nouther dimension seems cool.

Drama

It's really good, and the tension was their to build the drama. Really good.

Script

Feels like it could have been better but still good enough.

Horror

Dark tower, makes the tension a really good atmospheric horror ride. Not to scary but enough for you to go wow!. The horror was the best, in seasons 1's cereal of episodes.

CGI

Looks stunning and the effects look positively beautiful for once!

The story lacks that spark though, as it can be confusing or sus if you like.

Acting

Not that bad, never that good either. Goosebumps never had great acting, just good enough for people not to say anything nasty, or criticising the actors for doing their job.

Better ones

The executioner is like Frank Langella. Talk about charming i always did like him. Point of fact i always did like the villians. I found this on DVD but i always watched the VHS. Was always a good one. Aside from the haunted masks this was one of the better Goosebumps in the series. The others were pretty close to stupid.

Warning: Spoilers
Is this Twin Peaks: The Return?

The ending of this episode of Goosebumps is the scariest to me. The idea of the kids being completely alone in some weird alternative universe is frightening.

Goosebumps Goes Medieval

My favourite Goosebumps book and episode! I always did love a good medieval time-travel story, and R. L. Stine did well with his spin on the 15th-century mystery of the "Princes in the Tower".

Having been to the filming location Casa Loma in Toronto as a kid (though the episode is set in London, England), it's neat to recognize so much of the castle like the stairwell, the tunnel and the courtyard.

Props to the non-UK actors for their convincing accents.

One of the best Goosebumps stories

"A Night in Terror Tower" is the 27th book in the Goosebumps franchise and was adapted into a two part episode in 1996. The two main protagonists Eddie brother and Sue who are siblings are on vacation in the town of London visit a castle called "Terror Tower" where they hear the story of Prince Edward and Princess Susannah (who was revealed to be them near the end). But when they were accidentally left behind by the tour group, they are chased by a man known as the Lord High Executioner who wants to take back to their original time and execute them.

This episode is one of my favorite episodes from Goosebumps, and what I like about this episode is that the plot was very good just like the book (which I haven't read, but I listen to the audiobook), the exterior was fantastic, this episode (and the book) was set in London, England, and England is one of the best countries, and the end credits theme used a medieval vacation of the Goosebumps theme.
