When Arnold the pig emerges from the bedroom, his lei is around his shoulders and stomach behind his front legs. After a quick cut-away we see Arnold sitting with the lei clearly hanging around his neck (i.e. in front of his front legs).
The running gag of the contest that took the winner to Verdun to see the Kaiser sign the Armistice to end WWI gets at least a couple facts wrong. First, Kaiser Wilhem II of Germany did not sign the Armistice; he had abdicated on 10 November 1918; the Armistice was signed on 11 November 1918. Secondly, Verdun was not the site of the signing. The Armistice was signed at Le Francport near Compiègne, France.
When Fred is first talking to Sam the yellow card with #3 on it is setting on the counter next to the cash register. Then it's gone and Mr. Douglas has to take #82 because Arnold has #3 somehow.
