Funny episode in where Oliver thinks he's been asked to become a county judge and goes to New York to get the advice of his mentor, the highly respected Judge Crandel (and so Lisa can get an entirely new wardrobe befitting a judge's wife). When he gets to New York his mother (who adores Lisa) ignores him and dotes on Lisa. Judge Crandel for his part can't remember Oliver at all and when the Douglas' return to Hooterville, Oliver finds he's actually just supposed to be a judge at the county fair. Pretty amusing throughout.
One odd part--director Bare uses a shot of a plane flying screen right to indicate the Douglas' are flying to New York, but rather than do a reverse shot when they come back, he has them drive back.
