Sam Drucker to the rescue!
FlushingCaps4 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
In Pixley, Eb sees Mr. Douglas across the street from where he is. Suddenly a woman appears and kisses him, but it's not Lisa. Eb is convinced Oliver is up to hanky-panky. The next morning Eb is quite unfriendly to Oliver, but doesn't explain it clearly. He gets his dictionary and, with Lisa there, says, "That man there is a philanthropist!" Eb realizes that's not the right word, looks back at his book, and says "Philanderer!" Lisa asks, "You mean he gives money away?"

The viewers see a motel room scene where we meet an embezzler named Charlie and his wife Blanche and we see that Charlie is nothing like Oliver except in appearance. They plan to lay low until the heat is off from the embezzler from Boston.

Mr. Haney tries to sell things to Mr. Douglas outside his house, as usual, including a $150 painting by Pablum Picarasso, that is, of course, a mishmash of colors depicting whatever is in the mind of the viewer. When Mrs. Douglas comes outside and recognizes it as a Picarasso, Haney ups the price to $200. Now in the IMDB goofs, someone has incorrectly written that when Haney later ups the price, Oliver says it was $150 this morning when it was $200. Technically, it was both, but Haney did start at $150.

Back in Pixley, both Haney and Hank Kimball encounter Charlie, and both are shocked to hear both he and Blanche mention "motel." I enjoyed Hank greeting the pair, "Hello Mr. Douglas. Hello Mrs. D...no you're not Mrs. Douglas. A minute later, he starts to say goodbye and again hesitates as he stares at Blanche, sort of making sure she isn't Mrs. Douglas.

Meanwhile Charlie has figured out that he must look like this Douglas character people keep thinking he is, so he finds out where Douglas lives and has Blanche pay a visit to see how much alike they look. While she is sitting on the couch beside Oliver, with Lisa about to bring them coffee, Eb enters and is shocked that he would bring the other woman to his own home.

Charlie has figured out that he and Blanche should check out and travel, after he phoned the Boston police to give them a tip as to Charlie's whereabouts-the Douglas farm. Of course they arrest Oliver.

Luckily for Oliver, he's got a friend in Sam Drucker. Having heard about Oliver's arrest and his claim about a lookalike, when Charlie enters Drucker's, Sam pulls out a shotgun and arrests him.

We get the usual split-screen 60s TV staple of Eddie Albert in his dual role, with a stand in for Charlie from the back in other shots, and the police unable to tell them apart. They bring in Lisa and she asks some good questions, but they keep making Oliver answer first, so Charlie just repeats whatever answer Oliver gave. Then she tries the shmooch test, kissing Charlie and hugging him and declaring she'll take him, without ever kissing Oliver. Before they can leave, Oliver tells the police something about a mole on Lisa that only he knows where on it is. That frees him and Lisa admits she knew which one was Oliver all along, she was just toying with him.

Everything worked for me in this one-Hank was not too dumb, Haney was his usual opportunist self, upping the price of the painting from $150 to $200 to $600-the latter after he thought he had something on Mr. Douglas. Eb's bit with the dictionary was also quite good. A 9 from me.
