Two different Mercury convertibles used in this episode. One had pearl white interior, one had black interior when Arnold was in car.
Arnold the pig (referred to as "he") is very obviously a female.
The mustachioed disguise in glasses that Mr. Haney puts on and the song he attempts to sing both allude to Groucho Marx and the tune "Hooray for Captain Spaulding" from the movie Animal Crackers (1930). Groucho adopted the tune as theme music for his quiz show You Bet Your Life (1950). Mr. Haney's use of the term 'schnorrer' in his rendition of the song mimics Groucho's version when, while singing the song in the movie, Groucho becomes incensed that someone has called him, instead of 'explorer', 'schnorrer': a Yiddish term meaning, among other things, 'a lazy good-for-nothing'.
Arnold likens Al Lewis's bank robber character to Albert Schweitzer, the noted theologian, philosopher, musician, who is perhaps best known for his medical missionary work in Africa, and also noted for his unconventional bushy crop of hair on his head.
Al Lewis, playing one of the bank robbers, is perhaps best known for his role as Grandpa in the 1960s sitcom The Munsters (1964).
