Let's face it, asylums are scary places. The idea of losing your mind is a very personal fear and adding to that being the lone sane person amongst the mad and the fear that both the inmates and staff are eating away at what little sanity you have and you have the setting for most people's worst nightmare. That makes it a perfect setting for our tortured Frank, being chased by his own demons. The idea that it's all in his head is very alluring. He's checked into the place to find a missing inmate. The staff won't even admit the man was ever there, so Frank's gone undercover to find out what's what. Inside, he meets a pretty girl who ought not to be there and a man who really should. Together, they unravel the identity of the badly burned ghost that's haunting the place, but it's not who we were expecting. It's not exactly groundbreaking stuff, but it's well-played and if you've invested in the characters so far then you'll find more than enough to keep you happy, not least the 'twist' which just goes to prove that the inmates really are taking over the asylum.
