When Lucy discovers Rudy Vallee working in a restaurant, she goes on a crusade to modernize his image so he will become a popular singer like he was years before.
This is another HERE'S LUCY episode from this period that does not rise above mediocre and gives the series its' lowly reputation. Vallee also has the distinction of being one of the few guest stars for whom Lucie Arnaz had unkind words.
The best thing about this one are the wild 1970 fashions and groovy dancing. Kim is seen rocking out in the Carter living room, and the finale has them onstage at the Hungry Hippie where they perform with Vallee. He's been made over in a tie-dye shirt, fringe vest and Beatle wig. Lucie wears a red bodysuit and Lucy has on black tights and a fringe vest that matches her hair color. They all sing a few lines of "Let the Sunshine In" from HAIR, and "Winchester Cathedral".
Fast forward through to the end to see some wild late 60s/early 70s groovin' man! 4/10.
