Mike (Merry Anders) and Gwen (Lisa Gaye) are being pursued by a soldier. To get rid of him they pretend to know a man, Charles Stewart (James Philbrook), walking away from his convertible and sit inside. When they get out, Gwen scratches the door and leaves a note claiming responsibility and a way to be reached. Shortly after they leave, an irresponsible truck driver (George Givot) plows into the back of the convertible. Witnesses scatter as to not be tied down all day. When the driver spots the note he takes off to leave the blame on Gwen. Mr. Stewart visits Gwen at the ladies penthouse with an repair estimate of $1,800. Seeing a photo of the damage, she realizes someone came along after her, but Mr. Stewart doesn't believe her and leaves threatening a lawsuit. The ladies go to Camp Grace to try and find the soldier that was making a pass at them. Solider and steel heir Thomas Brady Jr. (Vernon Gray) confesses guilt to his buddy Jim (Edson Stroll, Virgil in "McHale's Navy") who advises him to stay out of it. Gwen is arrested and now must face a court to determine her fate.
