Pilot Mike Barclay takes up a Mark 2 jet for testing, it crashes, but he survives, Doctor Corder is called in to learn whether it was a suicide attempt or Pilot or Plane error.
It's not one of my favourite episodes, the plot is good, if unremarkable. Corder's presence feels a little half baked, he's always right at the centre of things, but here he's simply a bit part player.
Over and out is very well made, the sets and flight sequences are spot on, and it's certainly well acted, and compared to the rest of Series one, it's a little different.
The most interesting scene has to be where Mike is taken straight back to the scene of his horror, and the cabin of The Mark 2 is recreated, it's both revealing and shocking.
Very strong, convincing acting from Ian Bannen, it's a very convincing performances as troubled pilot Mike Barclay, credit also to Zena Marshall, who played his wife.
7/10.
