By this point in the series, Fred Dryer and Darlanne Fluegel were not getting along. Their screen time together was far less than it had been in prior shows. Fluegel would leave the series the following week. She later cited working with Dryer being difficult as the reason she left the series.

When Kasey Walker walks in to the station Charlie acts like he recognizes her. In fact, this was Waker's fourth and final appearance in the series- with the exception of Naked Justice: Part 1 (1988) and Naked Justice: Part 2 (1988) she appeared each time as a different character.
The Lothario pawnshop owner is played by Paul Linke, who had appeared as CHP Officer Artie Grossman for 6 seasons on CHiPs (1977) and also in the movie sequel CHiPs '99 (1998).
