"Indispensable Jeannie" features little of Jeannie, off visiting relatives while Majors Nelson and Healey prove their compatibility by living together for seven days. Swapping chores night after night gets a bit boring, but it's better than staying out till midnight until your partner's date goes home. Meanwhile, Jeannie pops back briefly, sees the colossal bachelor-type mess around the house, and leaves behind a home that grants its occupants their every wish. Tony catches on before Roger does, trying to keep Dr. Bellows from deducing something wrong between the two old buddies. All they need to do is avoid using words like 'wish' and 'want.' Just when they have Dr. Bellows convinced of their sincerity, one ill timed phrase has them almost at each other's throats, so another tiff needs to take place between the doctor and his wife.
