After making Jeannie promise not to use her powers to help him, Major Nelson is kidnapped by Chinese agents, who are determined to make him talk. Of course, if Jeannie helped him out of this situation, she would lose her powers! What a predicament. In my opinion, the Chinese agents could have been better casted. James Hong was always a great character actor, believable in any role. He should have been the "leader," rather than Richard Loo. Linda Ho, as the princess, was a liability. She wasn't particularly attractive, and she also wasn't the greatest actress. The episode contains one pretty obvious "goof." At one point, Jeannie makes Nelson speak in Arabic, so he doesn't divulge the information to the Chinese agents. Jeannie would had to have used her powers, to make Nelson speak in any foreign language. Wasn't that a violation of her promise not to use her powers to help him? Overall, a pretty good episode, but could have been better.
