One of the best remembered episodes

"My Master, the Great Caruso" is one of the finest examples of Jeannie blinking Tony with some new ability, which then causes trouble with Dr. Bellows. Here, the Air Force talent contest inspires her to make certain her master can earn a trophy for their empty shelf. Dr. Bellows naturally arrives in time to hear Tony sing with the glass breaking vocal of Enrico Caruso (even his sunglasses shatter!), so Gen. Peterson is also on board for Tony to perform. Unfortunately, since he made Jeannie promise not to use Caruso's voice things look bleak. Jeannie's solution is to blink several distinctive voices into his mouth, resulting in one of Larry Hagman's funniest scenes of the entire series. Roger continues to toy with Jeannie about her birth date, which he finally reveals to be April 1st. Arthur Peterson (the Major on SOAP) briefly appears as General Brill, wagering Gen. Peterson on NASA's 'golden thrush.'

million $ laughs

This episode has almost got me on the floor in fits of laughter! First off, Jeannie gives Major Nelson Caruso's glass-breaking voice which was great! He shattered Doctor Bellow's glasses! Then, when Jeannie took the voice away and Bellows signed Tony up for a singing contest, Tony tries to get out of it by trying to "catch his death of cold" as Jeannie put it. He was wearing light shorts and a t-shirt while having a fan blast open-window air at him and soaking his feet in ice cubes. He's was getting somewhere when Jeannie blinked in and wouldn't allow her master to continue "committing suicide", as he put it, and blinked the window shut, the fan off, Nelson in a fuzzy towel covering his head and bellow, and the ice into steaming water. Then Nelson reads some type of 4th of July speech out loud on the top of his lungs, causing his voice to grow hoarse. Jeannie, of course, doesn't permit that either and fixes him - but the wording was just perfect! You just gotta see this episode! And don't even get me started on the singing part! Just watch it!
