Sammy Davis Jr. as himself
kevinolzak25 October 2016
"The World's Greatest Entertainer" opens with Jeannie determined to get Tony on the entertainment committee for General Peterson's tenth anniversary celebration party. Tony believes that Miami is the place to find plenty of stars, and selects Rat Pack member Sammy Davis Jr. as the one to ask. Unfortunately, Roger spills the beans to Dr. Bellows, who admits that Sammy is the General's favorite entertainer. The bad news is that Sammy is booked for two shows a night, unable to be in two places at once...until Jeannie accomplishes just that. Sammy gets plenty of screen time, shown rehearsing the popular "Girl from Ipanema" in his hotel room in Miami. The duplicate Sammy belts out "That Old Black Magic" on behalf of General Peterson, who doesn't realize how close he is to the truth: "when you're up on that stage you do the work of two people!"
