• Lucy Ricardo : [Lucy and Ricky both sneak out to avoid being the one to tell Little Ricky that he can't keep a dog in their apartment, but they meet each other in the hallway]  All right, Ricky Ricardo, will you please tell me where you were going?

  Ricky Ricardo : Me? Uhhh, rehearsal. Yeah, that's it! Rehearsal at the club.

  Lucy Ricardo : At 7 o'clock in the morning?

  Lucy Ricardo : Yeah, well you gotta get up awful early in the mornin' to sneak out of *this* apartment!

  Ricky Ricardo : You can say that again. Yeah, you're right, Honey. I'm his father. I guess I should tell him.

  Lucy Ricardo : [relieved]  Oh, well, Honey, I'm glad you finally decided.

  Little Ricky Ricardo : [Little Ricky comes in]  Hi, Mommy. Hi, Daddy.

  Ricky Ricardo : Hi, son.

  Lucy Ricardo : Well, good morning, Sweetheart.

  Ricky Ricardo : Say, I want to talk to you, pardner.

  [Little Ricky continues walking into the kitchen] 

  Lucy Ricardo : He went to get his dog.

  Little Ricky Ricardo : [comes back holding his puppy]  Yes, Daddy?

  Ricky Ricardo : All right. We have to have a talk here. I want to tell you that, uh... I want to tell you that, uh... I want to tell you that your mother has something to tell you. I'm late, I gotta go. Good bye, everybody.
