The trial of John Wesley who is Denise Nicholas's former husband for robbery and
murder goes on. It's a foregone conclusion Wesley is guilty, being caught as he was outside the factory he was the paymaster of many years ago with both loot and gun in hand with one of his two accomplices. The only question remains
is whether it will ve 1st degree murder which is a capital offense and no exceptions are made in the state of Mississippi.
Of course Nicholas and her son Rugg Williams bear an almpst insufferable burden. Williams because it's his father and Nicholas because she has gone on to elective office in Sparta and her career cold be circling the bowl.
There's another trio of robbers that the Sparta police are trying to find. Still
some of the force has to testify principally Geoffrey Thorne who was wounded
in apprehending the felons.
