Countdown at URSS's embassy!!
elo-equipamentos17 January 2020
As far I remember this episode shows for the first time David Vincent working as Architect, he is asking for URSS's embassy to get a look in a strange being arrested after a robbery, arriving there he recognizes that means a real Invader, however the Deputy Ambassador Peter Borke (Dennis Weaver) was afraid to be a USA's trickery believing this kind of being was conceived by Americans, even he has observed by own eyes others Invaders who was killed and disappearing afterwards trying to release the prisoner, actually Vincent has an allied there Dr. Katherina Serret (Dana Wynter) whose he has some reliance, our hero got escapes, but no one believing him, finally he got a deal with the Invader's leader, he has two hours to release the captive or the foreign embassy will be bombed, fine episode!!

The Invaders and the Cold War
MarcNorth894 February 2024
A Soviet Bloc embassy captures a burglar, played by Don Dubbins, whom they discover isn't human. The embassy's doctor, played by guest star Dana Wynter, brings in David Vincent to help investigate the alien whom they have captured. David and the physician have a good personal chemistry. Unfortunately, neither can convince the Deputy Ambassador, played by Fritz Weaver, of the true nature of the embassy's prisoner due to an embarrassing mistake in the diplomat's past. The Invaders want their man back, or dead, of course, and they are willing to trigger a war to get what they want. This was a good, well-directed episode with a great guest cast, including the talented and lovely Dana Wynter.

The Second Half Of The Hour Is Good
StuOz25 August 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Rich people have an alien locked away downstairs and "the invaders" demand he be released or they will blow up the embassy he is being held in.

The first ten episodes of this season had an energy and movie-like look to them that blew me away. The 16 episodes that came after are still good and sometimes wonderful, however missing the opening-ten-episode-feel. This is one of those 16 shows and it is a bit sleepy in presentation at times.

Thankfully things pick up in the second half of the hour when "the invaders" show up at the embassy, making trouble.

Look out for a well directed moment when the aliens kill the driver of Vincent's car...this is 1967 so we see not blood...in fact we don't even see the killing...but so well filmed!
