Tim Turner had an interesting role as Dr Peter Brady, a young scientist turned permanently invisible after an accident.

Turner voices the character of the Invisible Man. Sometimes you see a man with bandages before he goes on a mission, other times you see him smoking a cigarette or passing a crowbar. However it is not Turner, he just provides the voice.

Produced by ITC, it really is a template they would follow for the next decade or so. An international set series that is US television friendly and all shot in the UK.

In this episode Brady is helping Zean Fleming uncover gun runners after a family is shot down in a market. It is one of these dodgy north african dictatorships. Fleming had already done an investigation for a UN type organisation but now wants to uncover proof.

With the help of Brady they find guns in boxes marked with a big X. However the authorities are in on it and Fleming's life is in danger.

It is pretty routine stuff, very much of its time. It moves briskly because of its 30 minutes length. It is easy to guess the politician type is in on the deal. It was nice to spot the actor James Booth in an early role. He turned up in Twin Peaks over 30 years later.
