Howard's new handsome kitchen helper comes between Amy and Dot; Ginger buy's Jan's old car; Howard agrees to prepare a dinner at Nancy's only because her guest is a famous hockey player.
Just an okay episode. The best part is when Dot tries to break up with Scott in the lounge but finds him so hard to resist, she falls right into his arms. This type of story was done so much better back in Season 1 with Dot and Vicki feuding over "Our Man Barry".
The Jan/Ginger storyline is beyond old-hat. Ginger's LET'S MAKE A DEAL speech is tedious - even the "twist" at the end where Jan finds out Ginger made a profit selling the car has been done to death.
