Some fun moments in this episode.

The Scented Room is very much one of the locked room mysteries, only this time there's no corpse, no vanished person, but a missing piece of priceless artwork.

Adam Klaus has another fantastic illusion, the scene where the crew are battered by a worried pensioner is hilarious, very madcap. Creek is wonderfully smug as he knows the answers within minutes, but enjoys tormenting his critic.

It's always lovely to see Bob Monkhouse in a serious role, he is much missed. I loved his scenes with Davies.

It's a smart mystery, the case itself isn't a favourite, but the character play is glorious. 8/10.

Warning: Spoilers
Maddy visits her shrink where she is revealing her sexual dreams/fantasies of Johnathan, when she is surprised during the consultation.

Maddy cons Jonathan into helping her solve the mystery of a missing artwork, where she had hoped to claim the reward.

The paintings owner Sylvester Le Fley (Bob Monkhouse) is an art Critic, who has panned Adam Claus magic show.

Adam Claus has his usual hairbrained schemes of showstopping acts, like getting buried alive and grandstanding in a royal audience.

Johnathan gets a clue from Maddy's agent she has skeletons in her closet, he glimpses a rattle that her shrink may help to be revealed.
