Crocker's crisis
bkoganbing15 March 2013
In this Kojak episode the emphasis is on Kevin Dobson whom Telly Savalas treats like a son almost. Responding to a tip about a fur heist, Crocker and Saperstein confront a pair of robbers. Saperstein kills one and Crocker while in pursuit of the other wounds a young model played by Carol Lynley. She's left a paraplegic and the doctors are reluctant to remove the bullet pressing against her spine.

Dobson gets concerned about Lynley and her health issues and that concern is developing into feelings for her which she's not sure how to respond to. Lynley has a whole range of other concerns as well.

Without the help of his protégé, Telly Savalas and the rest of the Manhattan South squad find out the whole story behind that robbery and a string of others. This is one of the best Kojak episodes, a must for fans of the series.
