Lawyer Neil Robertson cites a Yale University study on women over 40 having a better probability of being killed by a terrorist than landing a husband. A June 1986 Newsweek article had made that claim based on the study. Before the claim was debunked, it was quoted in numerous TV shows and movies of which L. A. Law appears to be the first.
The title is based upon the song "Some Enchanted Evening" from the Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II musical South Pacific.
