The show L.A. Law went on a hiatus since the stalker Linda Salerno was attempting to stab Gwen Taylor, but was killed and shot in the back by Police Officer Crenshaw and saving Gwen's life. Anne Twomey is the last appearance of a recurring role as Gwen's villainous stalker Linda Salerno. returned to L.A. Law on NBC as a producer to finish out two seasons of Civil Wars (1991) on ABC and make changes to be brought in to fix it.
