It is so sweet and degrading at the same time. I am not one of the too sensitive PC folks, I laugh still. It goes to show what friends would do for one another. The stripper couldn't make it and Laverne volunteers, but can't fit into the outfit. Luckily, Shirley does. If you know Shirley as The Good Girl it is out of her comfort zone. But her boyfriend Carmine saves her from being totally naked in front of guys. It's great to see good guys portrayed. He respects her. The friendship the girls have really shows in this episode.
