- A NY detective is convinced he has trailed a man wanted for bank larceny three years ago and his wife to Laramie. When the proof is scars from an old operation for her, Dan may have to reluctantly arrest one of the nicest men in town.
- Detective Lt. Foster of the New York Police Department arrives in Laramie. He tells Troop he is there to arrest a man for larceny who has been mailing payments from towns around Laramie to repay the theft. The man committed the larceny for a gallbladder operation for his wife. After learning his mission, people in Laramie give him the cold shoulder as they do not agree with the eastern concept of law. They feel a person deserves a second chance to make good. Foster eventually learns the man he is after goes by the name of Fred Stiles who Dan also suspects. When Foster is close to proving his case, Stiles leaves town. Foster trails him but is injured in a buggy accident. Stiles leads Troop to Foster but Foster still forces Troop to go after Stiles and arrest him. Just before Foster is to leave with Stiles on the stage, Foster has a change of heart and decides to leave alone.—Anonymous
