- Clarence Rutherford: The only thing funnier than Beaver in a bunny suit would be seeing a bunny in a beaver suit!... Pretty good, huh?
- Wally Cleaver: Hey Beav, better go get cleaned up and hop off to bed.
- Theodore Cleaver: Wally!... did you *have* to say hop?
- Wally Cleaver: Gee, Mom, Beaver feels rotten enough already. Did you *have* to put carrot sticks in his lunch?
- Miss Lawrence: As you know, our bunny opens the whole pageant as he ushers in spring.
- June Cleaver: Well, now, don't you worry, Miss Lawrence, we'll find him some place.
- Miss Lawrence: I could use a gopher or a snake but it just doesn't seem appropriate.
- Wally Cleaver: Well, look, uh, don't you think you're uh, a little old to go around playing some kind of an animal?
- Theodore Cleaver: [earnestly] Well, that's what me & Gilbert told Miss Lawrence. But she gave us a whole big speech about not letting Grant Avenue school down, and about having school spirit.
- Wally Cleaver: When they start bringing school spirit into it, you know you're in for a rough time.
