Ward and June are a bit concerned as they believe sixteen year old Wally is too young to go steady, but they also don't want to come right out and ask him if he is indeed going steady with Evelyn to appear the nosy parents. They become more concerned when Evelyn and Wally start hanging out with Evelyn's sister Judy Henderson and Judy's husband Tom Henderson, who dropped out of junior college to get married. June and Ward think Wally may get ideas to be like Tom and Judy, who are only three years older than he is and who he considers two of the neatest people he knows. Trying not to be too obvious, Ward and June try to dissuade Wally from becoming like Tom and Judy. But Wally also sees first hand that life as a young married couple isn't all a bed of roses.—Huggo
