Lois Lane : I just wish I had waited too.

Lois Lane : Well I do. Especially since they were practically federal disasters.

Lois Lane : Morning. Thank you for the flowers and the coffee. What's the occasion?
Clark Kent : The occasion is I'm in love and I'm getting married.

Lois Lane : With all the money we are gonna save on airfare thanks to Superman express we can go just about anywhere we want. Paris, Hawaii...
Clark Kent : I don't care where we go Lois as long as I'm with you.
Lois Lane : Well let's say we go to Hawaii. We can stay in one of those huts on our own beach.
Clark Kent : Oh yeah.
Lois Lane : You know with the thatched roof and ceiling fan. Nice soft bed.
Clark Kent : Perfect.
Lois Lane : That is if you like soft beds.
Clark Kent : A soft bed's fine.
Lois Lane : Cause you know there are other kinds of beds. There's hard, firm, straw mat, futon, some people even like the floor.
Clark Kent : Lois any bed that you choose will be fine with me.
Lois Lane : Well what if it's not? I mean what if you are expecting one type of bed and you end up getting a completely different type? You might be disappointed.
Clark Kent : How come I get the feeling that this isn't all about... beds?
Lois Lane : Well it did occur to me there is one or two things that we never talked about.
Clark Kent : One or two things?
Lois Lane : One thing.
Clark Kent : What thing?
Lois Lane : THE thing.
Clark Kent : Oh. That thing.
Lois Lane : We haven't had any experience together, well much, I mean with each other. Oh God what am I doing? Sucking the romance out of this like a vacuum.
Clark Kent : It's okay.
Lois Lane : It's just, well we've waited... and I'm glad.
Clark Kent : I'm glad too.
Lois Lane : But then... it's for life and what if... what if you... oh if this is half as stupid as I think it is just kill me.
Clark Kent : No, no, no no no...
[Their conversation is interrupted]

Lois Lane : You know, when we were at the beach he showed up when we started kissing. And that car chased us down when we were in the street holding hands.
Clark Kent : So?
Lois Lane : So maybe if we get close right now he'll make his move. Kiss me.
[They kiss]
Lois Lane : Oh I never thought I could be uncomfortable kissing you.
Clark Kent : Don't think about it.
[They kiss again]
Lois Lane : Still nothing.
[They kiss longer]
Clark Kent : Anything?
Lois Lane : [In between kisses] Oh well... it's starting to be a little more... comfortable.
Clark Kent : Yeah.
[They fall on the bed, fewer clothes, continuing to make out and rolling around]
Lois Lane : This isn't really happening is it?
Clark Kent : No it's all in our minds.
Lois Lane : How come it feels so real?
Clark Kent : Who cares?
Lois Lane : [They continue to make out and pull clothes off] Oh Clark...

Clark Kent : So now that we're back in real reality, want to finish our conversation?
Lois Lane : Clark I want...
Clark Kent : Yes?
Lois Lane : Pastrami.
Clark Kent : What?
Lois Lane : On rye, Russian dressing, sliced pickles, side of slaw, cream soda and then...
Clark Kent : And then?
Lois Lane : And then we can deal with that thing.

Lois Lane : I think I'll have some fries too.
