The Spirit Of Aaron Burr Lives
hogwrassler7 April 2021
Ace Martin and Windy Grant have acquired half of Aaron Burr's papers in which Burr planned to take over the southwestern part of the United States and set up his own kingdom. They try to induce wealthy rancher Halstead to join their plan. Halstead is well known in Arizona and might be able to pull off the takeover. To get the other half of the plans and keep their conspiracy small, Ace and Windy stop the stagecoach and murder Ace's partner, who was bringing him the other half. But The Ranger and Tonto drive them away from the stage and Ace drops the new half of the plans. The Range finds them and quickly figures out what's going on. He and Tonto will need the sheriff's help to trap the members of this treasonous conspiracy. But how to do it? Peter Whitney plays Windy. And that's an energetic Burt Mustin as the stage driver. This episode drags a little with a lot more talk and less action then usual. But it's a good history lesson as former Vice President Aaron Burr did try to take over a large part of the Untied States after he left office. Younger viewers who watch this today may not even recognize the name.
