- The Lone Ranger and Tonto find an injured man who is building a school house on his own. They learn from him that the school is the project of an Indian girl who wanted to have a school for Indians. She was given $10,000 to help build the school but two men, one of whom is an Indian who worked for her, killed her and took the gold. It seems like they encountered the men previously. The Indian is still out there but the other one had been caught and is going to be hanged that day. Tonto goes to the town to get a wagon for the injured man. But the lawyer of the man who's about to be hanged, is visited by the Indian who wants him to get his partner to tell him where the gold is. The lawyer goes to see him and tries to get him to tell him where the gold is, by telling him that if he returns the gold, the school could be built that it could be his way to vindicate himself but he doesn't trust the lawyer. He sees Tonto and tells the deputy that's his partner who arrests him and puts him in the cell next to him. He says he knows he's the one who rides with the masked man, he wants to tell him where the gold is so that they could return it so that the school could be built. The lawyer who overheard their conversation, tells the Indian and they follow Tonto who tries to give them the slip but they catch up with him and the Ranger just as they find the gold which was hidden in a tree in the middle of some quick sand.—rcs0411@yahoo.com
