It's great to see these old episodes being shown on both The Cowboy Channel and on the Circle TV Channel.
The Ranger and Tonto travel to Border City to visit old friend and banker George Wilson. Wilson changes the silver from The Ranger's mine into currency. This is how The Ranger finances his crime fighting operations. But Wilson says that master criminal Edward Ashton has taken over the town and uses his henchmen to keep everyone in line. The Ranger and Tonto will both have to go undercover on this case. The Ranger becomes Mexican bandit Juan Ringo and Tonto is a shiftless Indian hanging around the cafe. This is one of the most difficult and dangerous missions out heroes have ever taken on.
This excellent episode is spiced up by two well staged fistfights between Clayton Moore and John Cason (and their stuntmen). Each fight features excellent choreography and realistic looking blows and falls. And the sound effects are very well done.
An outstanding episode with a lot of suspense and tension.
