Due to a woman's scheming to win her husband's affections for herself alone, Doc finds himself involved in a real, live Errol Flynn-type swordfight; and Gopher and Isaac don't help.
Hollywood Golden Age star Don Ameche wants to promote one of two bickering young executives. The old pro's charm keeps this storyline afloat, but Ameche isn't given near enough to do.
Another Golden Age of Hollywood star (a term loosely flung around these days but accurate in this case) and frequent co-star to the real Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland, comes in with a plan to adopt Vickie and treat her like a princess. Yes, take her! Olivia should horn in on Doc's segment and clue him in on how to duel like Errol used to.
As with Ameche, it's good to see veteran actor Joseph Cotten back in harness. It's too bad he and Ameche don't interact.
Together or separately they could act Dack Rambo off the screen.
Very weepy episode if you're into that. The two young executives not only vie for promotion, but for Julie. Everyone loves Julie. I don't. She seems to always have too many teeth for her mouth.
Fairly typical cruise worth watching for old-Hollywood star power.
