A job for Homland Security?
kapelusznik186 December 2014
***SPOILERS*** You'd never suspect that the homely an inoffensive looking Raleigh King, Richard Deacon, would commit a crime you would associate with the Al-Qeada terrorist group which made it so difficult to crack by the Chicago Police as well as FBI. Planting a bomb on a passenger plane and using an unsuspected dupe Joe Fisher, Tom Monroe, to carry it out, who ended up being blown to bits, King thought he pulled off the perfect crime only to slip up when he got too brazen and tried to pull it off again. With Fisher suspected of being himself King got a $200,000.00 life insurance policy for his wife , Rita Lynn, and a new life and identity as Bob Gregory and accountant at the Sunset Mission at the same time.

Working for Mister Rodgers', Austin Greene, Sunset Mission for homeless men in South Chicago King had the perfect cover to continue his life of crime until one of Fisher's shoes was found in the crash site. That proved who he was or wasn't and exposed King and the man not only who faked his own death but murdered Fisher and the other passengers on the doomed plane. It's Let. Det. Frank Ballinger, Lee Marvin, who uncovered King's scheme by shoe identification and did his best from preventing him from pulling it off for a second time.

***SPOILERS*** It's at the Chicago Airport where King was planning to blow up another plane by paying off a stooge to unknowingly, by impersonating him, kill himself along with it that Ballinger made the pinch just before takeoff. Now instead of enjoying his new life and the insurance money he expected to collect King will end up getting fried in the Illinois state electric chair instead.
