kapelusznik189 August 2014
****SPOILERS**** After blackmailing high society hotshot Jim Leeds, Robert McQueeney, in exposing him as am unfaithful ladies man who's broken hearts, and bank accounts, all over the city of Chicago fashion model Shelly Dana, Barbara Darrow,is ready to really lay it on him by breaking up his upcoming marriage by telling his future wife what a heel he really is. Coming to beg Shelly to stop from ruining his marriage as well as life all Leeds' gets besides a cold shoulder is a thank you and goodbye from her!

Mad as hell and not going to take it anymore Leeds rams Shelly's face in the sink drowning her as she's washing off her makeup! In an effort to cover up his crime Leeds stupidly slips Shelly's body out of the studio and dumps it in Lake Michigan making her murder look like a boating accident. What this moron seemed to forget is that the sink that he stuffed Shelly's head into was filled with soap suds not lake water making his entire plan fall apart! It's Let. Det. Ballinger, Lee Marvin, and his boss who seemed to take this murder personally Capt. Grey,Paul Newlan, who soon realize that Shelly was murdered and check out those who were with her the last day of her life. They also find out that in many ways Shelly was as responsible for her murder as Leeds was, who at the time was still in the clear, who in blackmailing him ended up driving Leeds to murder to keep Shelly from wracking his life!

***SPOILERS*** Setting a trap for Leeds in fellow fashion model Jo Bennett's, Whitney Blake, apartment in tricking him that he has evidence to who murdered Shelly Let.Det Ballinger has him fall right into it! But in him soon knowing, when the trap was sprung, that he faces the state electric chair, for murder, and his standing in the community or high society now down the drain Leeds tried to shoot his way out of the bad situation he now finds himself in. Only to get blasted, as he holds both Ballinger & Grey hostage, from behind by rookie cop Ted Ross , Richard Garland, who just happened to drop in unexpectedly looking for his lunch bag, containing a salami sandwich coleslaw and a pickle, that he earlier by mistake left there.
