Breach of Faith
kapelusznik1823 December 2014
****SPOILERS**** Just when career criminal Lanny Cord, H.W Wynart, was about to receive his sentence he got up out of his chair and jumped out the court's 3rd floor window landing on the back of a flatbed truck and driven away by one of his many admirers Badger, Nip King, of the Warcheif street gang. With his old friend Let. Det. Frank Ballinger, Lee Marvin, who busted Lanny some half dozen times hot on his tail he goes on the lamb at the Warcheif's clubhouse in the slums of Chicago until the heat blows over.

Ballinger gets a break when he spots Warcheif gang member Pinky, Marc Carvell, bringing Lanny food and drinks and gets Pinky to tell him, by threatening to beat his brains in, where he's hiding at. With Ballinger and his M Squad staking out Warcheif headquarters or clubhouse they storm the place in an attempt to take Lanny in alive. With most of the Warcheif member giving up the fight before it even started, they didn't have the stomach for it, and most of the police out on a coffee brake it's now Ballinger's job to take Lanny in who's only got Badger at his side.

****SPOILERS**** In him having a reputation of being a tough guy afraid of nothing and no one Lanny chickened out and in an attempt to escape justice took his good friend and hero worshiping Badger as a human shield to keep him from getting shot by Ballinger and the police. Not only did this backfire on Lanny but had those, the members of the Warcheifs, realize what a yellow bellied coward he really was. And sure enough Lanny gave up without a fight, even though he was armed, and taken away to state prison to pay for his crimes.
