The Bundy baby train rolls on, pregnant Peggy feeling neglected by Al and the kids, who are more concerned that Buck the dog is off his food; meanwhile, Jefferson is having sympathetic pregnancy symptoms. It's all too much for Peggy, who packs her bags and heads for Wanker County to get the attention she craves from her relatives.
This is where this episode gets fun, the Wankers being even more hillbilly than Jed Clampett and his kinfolk. Cousin Eb (William Sanderson) is impressed by Al's hourly income, Possum boy is a hoot, and Cousin Effie is hot (Joey Lauren Adams, playing the second of three different characters during the show's run). However, none of Peggy's relatives give her the fuss that she yearns for, so she returns home to find that Al and the kids hadn't even noticed she had gone.
Will no-one sympathise with the poor woman? Well, yes, actually - Buck the dog's is also suffering from a sympathetic pregnancy. It's a shame that Peggy can't hear his thoughts...
