Al versus the Mouse!
Sylviastel28 May 2009
Al has bigger problems. A mouse is eating his food and defecating in his bowling shoes. This is no ordinary mouse, Peggy states. She's right because no matter how Al tries to capture the mouse, he fails. He gets Steve Rhoades to help him in capturing the mouse. At first, Al's reaction and actions seem normal but they escalate over time to the point that he's wrecking their home. Peggy states "We like the mouse, Al." She begs for him to stop the madness and get an exterminator but Al won't pay for an exterminator until it's too late. Peggy has a funny story about having a mouse as a pet when she was a girl but she thought it was a dog. It's a funny episode.

Pest control, Bundy style.
BA_Harrison3 September 2022
Peggy sees a mouse in the house and wants to call an exterminator, but Al reckons he can save money by dealing with the rodent problem himself. Of course, all of Al's attempts to catch the mouse fail, and the damage caused by the animal in the meantime amounts to hundreds of dollars.

Once again, Al allows male pride to get in the way of common sense, with neighbour Steve joining in on the mouse hunt. It all goes horribly wrong, of course, Steve getting a face full of poison and Al resorting to Rambo tactics, causing all sorts of damage to the basement but still managing to be outsmarted by the mouse. In the end, Peggy gets an exterminator in to do things properly, and she finally overcomes her lifelong fear of rodents by taking a look at the whiskery troublemaker.

Not a bad episode, but still a long way from the best that the season has to offer. And if you ask me, it wasn't a mouse, it was a rat!

Al Bundy: World's Worst Exterminator

Warning: Spoilers
I think this episode is very funny. Starting off with the reason Peg is so afraid of mice in the first place. I like how the only reason Al wants to kill the mouse is, "NO ONE DOODIES IN AL BUNDY'S SHOES AND LIVES!" He ends up making holes in the wall as well as smashing both of his thumbs. Next, Al tries a bigger mousetrap, but Buck sets it off and hurts his paw. Al and Steve try toxic poisoning, but Steve gets sick from it. In the end, Al ends up getting a rifle and trying to shoot the mouse. I like how he says before shooting, "Say cheese! Hello!" He also blows up his basement though there is no footage from the basement. Overall, this is a very funny episode. What have we learned today? If you have a mouse, call an exterminator, unless you want your house blown up.
