When Buck is in the pound he meets a Boxer (dog breed) and another dog says he claims he is innocent. The Boxer then speaks in a clear imitation of Mike Tyson, who had recently been convicted of rape and sentenced to six years in prison when the episode aired. Another dog resembles boxing promoter Don King and defends the Boxer.
This is one of just three episode where Buck was voiced by Cheech Marin which is odd in that it is done with an unmistakably Latino accent, whereas there are 54 episodes voiced by one of the show's producers, Kevin Curran whose voice very different.
When the family discovers that Buck is missing, Peg tells the kids to "go look under the house". Since the Bundy's live in the Midwest and have a basement, there would be no "under the house", such as a crawlspace.
