The second part of Kelly Does Hollywood sees Ms. Bundy going to Los Angeles with Al and Bud, where she is to record her show for the NBS network. Jon Lovitz is the TV bigwig who is in charge of the show, but despite saying that he loves everything about it, he has just a few changes to make before it is broadcast.
The result is far more wholesome, with Kelly and her friends discussing subjects such as how to make your parents happy and books. Pretty soon, her show is cancelled and the Bundys return to Chicago.
Clearly a swipe by the writers at studio interference (with a few digs at Fox's rival studio NBC), this episode is a slight improvement over part one, with good gags ("When you were a boy, you used to water things smarter than her."), some amusing titles for NBS's fall schedule (The Homeless Detective, Ellen and Her Dog, Spike Le Bee, N. Y. City School Teacher), and Al's hilarious suggestions for new shows (Kung Shoe and Breasts). Bud is particularly funny pretending to be Macaulay Culkin so that he can pull the babes.
The story concludes with Al turning in his TV and seeing that NBS have stolen one of his ideas: a sci-fi show set in the 23rd century called Shoe Trek.
A young Denise Richards appears as a nameless babe and Traci Lords features on the poster for The Homeless Detective.
