Al can't catch a break no matter how badly he needs one. In this episode, he is rejected by the credit card companies. Ironically, Buck Bundy gets a credit card. After Marcy informs them that if they didn't order some yodeling records (yes, she's in this episode but Christina Applegate isn't.), they decide to use the credit card and spend the money. Al almost catches a break when he meets a billionaire fellow and his young bride at a posh hotel who offers to start him at the bottom of the ladder which is like the top of the ladder for him where he would be making a huge salary and living in Houston, Texas. Then of course, things go sour. How will Al pay back the credit card company?

The Bundys go buck wild.

Al is unable to get any credit, but Buck the dog gets a credit card in the post. Believing that they don't have to pay for it if they didn't ask for it, the Bundys go on a spending spree in Buck's name, Al and Peggy checking into a posh hotel for the weekend, while Bud stays at home where he entertains two pretty girls.
It's a lot of fun watching the Bundys living it up for a change, with Al and his wife lounging in a hot-tub while waited on hand and foot, and Bud finally getting lucky. Sure, in the end they have to give everything back (except for Bud, who got something that can't be returned!), but it's entertaining while it lasts. It's just a shame that Kelly isn't around to join in on the fun -- she's on a double date... her and two guys!!
