When Kelly and Bud get to drive the family Dodge, they get hit by an expensive Mercedes-Benz and it's not their fault. I'm puzzled by the title because it really has nothing to do with the show. The Bundys decide to sue the other driver with Marcy's testimony as a non-Bundy witness. The judge is cast and played by the wonderful Dr. Joyce Brothers. The family screws up royally by Kelly pretending to be blind and Bud gets scared during the testimony. Anyway, it's a memorable episode when Marcy has a breakdown during her testimony about Mercedes-Benz and her ex-husband, Steve, who had one and left her in the former season. The Bundys think that finally they have a chance at the good life by suing for big bucks.

Not As Good As The Last Two, But Still Funny

Following on from two great 10/10 episodes, there was always a chance that sooner or later an episode would fall short, and sadly this one is it. Whilst is by no means a bad episode, it just doesn't hit the heights of the previous two.
Plot In A Paragraph: When Bud and Kelly crash Al's Dodge in to a Mercedes. The Bundy's see the chance to clean up in court and decide to sue. However since they are the Bundy's, it doesn't exactly go to plan.
O'Neil is great as always as Al, Applegate looks gorgeous as Kelly, Faustino and Segal are both good too, while Amanda Bearse has a scene stealing melt down on the witness stand.
Not as good as the last two episodes, but still funny, entertaining TV.

Bud gets his driving license. When Al tries to put his son on his insurance, he is shocked by the price and cancels the policy. And whaddya know? Bud and Kelly go out in the car and are in an accident with a Mercedes. However, when Marcy says she saw the whole thing and that the Mercedes driver was at fault, the Bundys see dollar signs and go to court...
The gags on this occasion are wholly predictable, with Peggy and the kids feigning injury (even though Peggy wasn't in the car) - Marcy goes crazy in the witness stand, and Kelly, pretending to be blind, does the expected by pointing out the man involved in the crash. As if realising that not even Kelly in one of her signature clingy mini-dresses is enough to save this episode, the makers throw in a hot nurse with big hooters in an act of desperation. It almost works.
