Al Bundy is having nightmares about feet every night including Peggy's. He sees a big ugly foot in his bed where Peggy is supposed to be or when she has really big feet. At the same time, Bud is trying to get together with Marcy, the newly single, who is sleeping on their couch. Kelly has devised a plan to make them that she's not a simpleton. She sets Bud and Marcy up to believe that they have done it when they haven't in order to mess with their minds. Bud gets to show off his new lady love to his friends. At the same time, Al's nightmares about feet and his job at the shoe store is not helping him. When a gorgeous model stops by and suggests the shoe store to hold a pageant, he jumps at the chance. It's not that kind of a beauty pageant.

Al is experiencing recurring nightmares about feet, the episode opening with a dream-within-a-dream. Marcy is currently sleeping on the Bundy's couch (for $25 a week), which gives Bud ideas. Kelly encourages Bud, telling him to sleep on the couch after Marcy dozes off so that she will be the first thing she sees when she wakes up. During the night, Kelly makes it look like Bud and Marcy have done the nasty - revenge for when Marcy called Kelly a simpleton.

Meanwhile, Al has been asked by a beautiful babe with big hooters to judge a pageant, to which he agrees. Unfortunately for Al, the competition is to find Chicago's ugliest feet, which causes his nightmares to become even more disturbing.

Another great episode from Season Four - the show is on a roll - featuring much hilarity and classic lines of dialogue ("I'll be there with boobs on"). And obviously appreciating that they have a major audience pleaser in Christina Applegate, the makers of the show once again see fit to put her in some sexy outfits, which is nice.
