Chicks and Chicken
wes-connors10 February 2015
While singing "Old MacDonald (Had a Farm)" atop trusty Maya the elephant, Terry (Jay North) explains to Raji (Sajid Khan) that "chicks" refers to chickens, not girls. With the circulation of a new "REWARD" poster depicting Mr. North, authorities capture the teenage boys. With Maya's help, they quickly escape. This brings Terry and Raji to the attention of beautifully-costumed Indian princess "Natira" (Salome Aaron). She likes another young man, but is being forced into an arranged marriage with nasty I.S. Johar's slacker son...

From the "chicks" opening, this episode attempts to inject a little romance into the series. Terry and Raji receive pecks on their cheeks. As an Indian, Mr. Khan's character gets to spend some time alone with the teenage princess. By now, viewers surely noticed North and Khan had more ardor for each other than this lone romantic guest star. Moreover, she is apparently in love with a university student. Also of note is the third use of footage, from the first episode, of Maya tossing a tiger; with each edit, the attack gets noticeably less violent.

***** Natira (12/23/67) Herbert Coleman ~ Sajid Khan, Jay North, Salome Aaron, I.S. Johar
